The hamburger and food products brand, founded in 2016 by Nicolás Lipthay and Diego Desmadryl, currently has seven locations.

The company dedicated to fuel distribution, Copec, announced that it acquired 100% of Streat Burger, a Chilean food chain in the “ Fast Casual ” segment.

The company maintained that this is part of its diversification process plan and articulation of new developments "to respond to the current and future consumption needs of people, deepening in this case its presence in the retail of on-the-go food at stations. and urban points.”

Copec will seek to promote the growth of the “ Fast Casual ” food chain both in service stations and in independent stores in cities, “locations where people spend more and more time and solve needs, a trend that will deepen with the charging model electric, which opens up spaces of time to capitalize on new experiences.”

Streat Burger is a brand of hamburgers and food products founded in 2016 by two entrepreneurs (Nicolás Lipthay and Diego Desmadryl), which has six locations in Santiago and one inside the Copec service station in San Francisco de Mostazal.

Nicolás Rostagno, Copec's retail manager, commented that the acquisition of Streat Burger "strengthens Copec's food value proposition, in our service stations and through stand-alone stores."

“We see a great opportunity to enhance the growth of Streat Burger by leveraging our capillarity, digital ecosystem and loyalty program, to bring the brand closer to more customers,” he said.

In recent years, Copec has expanded its service offering. In 2022, for example, it bought BlueExpress, which allows you to send and receive packages; and positioned the Copec Voltex charging network.
